MISSION:

PARISH HISTORY:
Started in 1883 as a mission of St. John's Anglican Church, Preston
a new church building was built on Harvey St. in 1893. Over the years
the building was enlarged and property purchased for expansion as the
congregation grew.
By 1987 St. James had outgrown the location on Harvey St. and new land
was sought after for a larger, modern church. The current property on
Ellis Rd. was purchased.
The construction started in fall of 1988 and the first service was held
in the new building June 23, 1989.
