Wow!  It sure has been a busy summer so far!  Two weeks of "Brick Works Academy" hosted here!  What a fabulous camp.  Fifty eight young people attended.  The camp is based on Lego and the creative ablitily that it provokes.  From programing to building robotics and stop animation to just good fun and games, these weeks were amazing.  We look forward to hosting next year!

As I type the giggles and happy activities of 40 girls who are attending "Girls Rock" punctuate the environment here at St. James!  It is a pleasure to host these young woment as they nurture self esteem and learn a variety of skills.  They sing and dance, write skits and have fun and games too!

It will be really quiet in August!

It is always our prayer that our young people, at St. James, in our neighbourhood and beyond are given opportunity for growth and development in a safe atmosphere.  We are happy to be one of those places.

I hope your summer is going great.  Our services each week are a little different during the summer... same times but sometimes themed.  Our next Ice Cream Sundae Sunday is August 17th and we encourage everyone to dress as their favourite sport.  Show your support for your team!

Have a fun safe and happy summer!

Yours in Christ,

Canon Linda
