POLLINATION
GARDEN PROJECT

St James Anglican Church Pollination Garden Project
Concept: 9x7meters butterfly shaped bed. There will be stepping stones featured within the butterfly to allow access to the garden. We are looking at having a pathway throughout the church property at a later date. Our hope is to also have plants that encourage pollination along the pathway and a bench nearby to the actual butterfly bed.
LOCATION: On the slope in front of the church, parallel to Ellis Road.
Planning Committee: Jennifer Savoy, Tracy Williams, Martin Peynado, Neil Whitehall, Rev. Linda Nixon and Jan Ho
DESIGN: The butterfly shaped bed will have a combination of perennials and annuals of pollinator attracting plants. The antennae will be made of metal, the body and division in the wings will be made of stepping stones. The stepping stones we hope will be made by the Sunday School and Youth group.
